The journey begins
The journey beginsDenis met me and, more importantly, my bike at CDG Paris. After negotiating heavy Parisian traffic, we passed through Champagne to Nancy.
Bike reassembled and after a very pleasant lunch with the Maillets and we did some shopping to complete my equipment.
Vince, did the Magpipes really win ?

Did the Magpies win? It was a once in a decade effort by the boys to post a truly memorable win. Over 50tackles in the first half, over 80for the match - everything went right. All the sweeter because it was unexpected.
Yeah, they smashed the Cats by 86 points, I think. Plus the Tigers beat Essendon by 38 points so it's been a good weekend for the righteous.
The righteous? Settle down vince...and yes, smash is the right word for what the pies did to the cats! We are so righteous.
The refreshments at Vitry-le-François look a bit 'up-market' compared to your usual Saturday morning fare at Vic Market!
